Vitae
Trond Stølen Gustavsen was born in
Oslo, 1970. He obtained his Master of Science in mathematics from the
University of Oslo, 1994, and his Ph.D. in mathematics in 1999 also
from the University of Oslo.
From 1994 to 1999 Trond Stølen Gustavsen was a research fellow at the
Department of Mathematics at the University of Oslo. From 1999 to 2000
he worked with the security at Telenor Research and Development, and
from 2001 he has been affiliated with Agder University College, as an
associate professor and with Telenor Research and Development, as
advisor (20%).
His research interests include pure mathematics, risk analysis,
cryptography, PKI, smartcards and other aspects of information
security.
